Banknote 50 rubles 1866-1886 of the Russian Empire
"State credit card. Upon presentation, it is issued from the exchange office of the State Bank of FIFTY RUBLES with a silver or gold coin. " Below are the printed (facsimile) signatures of the manager and one of the cashiers. On the left are imperial regalia, as well as the small Russian State Emblem of 1857. On the right side, the figure is "50".
The text of the "extract from the Highest Manifesto on credit cards" was repeated four times. Also there are two small guilloche rosettes, on top of which numbers "50" between which a portrait of Peter I is placed (an engraved portrait of the emperor by Chemezov from a portrait painted by the artist Lapier in 1718).
On the upper corners the figure is "50", in the lower corners both the word and "rub", the abbreviation "GKB" is placed on the top, below the year of 1866.

From October 15, 1869 according to the decree of October 14, 1868 (No. 46363).
Date of impressment
Was exchanged for tickets of the sample of 1887 according to the decree of November 13, 1892 (No. 9037) until May 1, 1894.
Paper made from pure hemp.
The background is gray. Drawing and printing of black color.
"ГОСУДАРСТВЕННЫЙ КРЕДИТНЫЙ БИЛЕТЪ." (The letter "G" has patterns and vignettes), below the small print -"По предъявленiи выдается изъ разменной кассы Государственного Банка", Further denomination is large -"ПЯТЬДЕСЯТЪ РУБЛЕЙ", Under the face value of handwritten font -"серебряною или золотою монетою."
